The four Casali paintings: Pan, The Arcadian god of nature and music; Ceres, the Italian goddess of corn; Pomona, the goddess of fruit; and Mercury, the god of trade and commerce. The paintings were returned to their original position at the Institution in September 2003. The completion was marked by a special opening day which was well attended. The 'Casali Day' 13 September 2003.
