Welcome to BRLSI!

BRLSI welcomes volunteers with a variety of different skills and interests. There is a friendly and welcoming team of volunteers, most generally signing up for a 3 hour shift each week.

If you would like to become a BRLSI volunteer, just drop by 16 Queen Square and complete a short volunteer form. Someone will then contact you and assist in signing you up for a vacant slot. There are currently 3 shifts: Morning 10am to 1pm, Afternoon 1pm to 4pm, and Evening (typically 5pm to 8pm but this can vary).

Volunteers are vital to the work of the BRLSI. Those who help at the front desk will be answering questions from members of public, accepting deliveries, taking bookings, and ensuring that information about our many talks and exhibitions is available.

Each year there is a volunteers party and other social occasions such as receptions to which volunteers are invited.
