Keith Nichols, the London-based pianist and trombonist will give an illustrated talk on early 20th Century popular music – that is, dance and ragtime – covering the years from 1900 to the end of the 1920’s.  This talk (please note the day, Friday 4 April) will conclude with a silent film comedy which he will accompany at the piano in suitable style.
Mrs. Eve Nichols is well-known for her drawings and paintings of musicians, some twenty of which will be exhibited from Wednesday 2 April to Wednesday 9 Aprill, in the Jenyns Room
