A Danish practitioner of natural cosmetics for over 20 years will discuss the use of natural herbal plants and minerals in cosmetic products beginning with Claudius Galenos from Pergamon, 130-201AD whose book Medicamenta Galenica was the first to describe how to use medical herbs.  The speaker will demonstrate how easy cosmetics can be made a provide a sample for attendees to take home.
