BRLSI  MEMBERS' MEETING

Friday 16th May 2008 7.30pm

All BRLSI Members are invited to the Members Meeting on May 16th. This will be a chance to hear from the Trustees and Management Committee about the latest news, and to be updated on plans for the future. These plans include the ambitious Darwin and Beyond Programme for 2009, Mechanics Worldwide 2009, developments in the Jenyns Room and plans for exhibitions. In addition Evelyn Lewis has arranged for a small exhibition and bookplate signing in connection with her very successful 'Adopt a Book' Scheme, which is slowly bringing the BRLSI library back into shape. All members are very welcome.

This event is part of the BRLSI Trustees and Management Committee's efforts to keep all members informed, and follows on from the very successful Members Forum held on April 5th, when Prof Julian Vincent (Chair of Trustees) and Marie Louise Luxemburg (Chair of Programme sub Committee) had an informal discussion with members concerning the latest plans, and members of the management committee and various sub committees were on hand to answer questions.
